Jerry Smith 1963-
My name is Jerry Smith. I live in East Tennessee. I work in an automotive factory. I am a
self-taught artist. I started out wanting to be a comic book artist when I was 10 years old and have been making art every since. I am 45 years old now.
I paint people that I know or have met throughout my life. I'm not making fun, I am celebrating their individuality. I have known a lot of interesting people growing up in the South.
I started painting in the late 1990's. I had painted with those paint by number kits as a child and the love for the medium got into my blood. I love color and like to experiment with different ways to present it. Thanks for looking at my art!
